Masterīs Degree Programme in Machine Automation

The two-year programme is designed for Bachelors of Science acquiring comprehensive engineering skills for automation and mechatronics. The International Master's Degree Programme in Machine Automation is interdisciplinary and unique. It gives the students expertise in accomplished factory automation and the application of the latest ICT technologies to the field, or in the application of mechatronics.

Students will achieve good knowledge of scientific and professional concepts of the major subject, and basic knowledge of the minor subject(s), as well as professional expertise in the discipline. They will have skills to apply the scientific methods to topical and concrete problems and be able to participate the societal debate in the discipline. The programme is entirely in English and leads to the degree of Master of Science (Technology). Completion of the programme qualifies the student to apply for doctoral degree studies.

Other Requirements

University-level (3 or 4 years) Bachelor of Science degree from an internationally recognized university in the field of mechanical engineering, automation and/or control technology, mechatronics, and other discipline related to the programme with proficiency in mathematics, physics, and elementary programming skills. The overall grade (CGPA) of the degree should reach at least 70 % of the maximum marks.

English language test is required: TOEFL (SCORE 79/550), IELTS (score 6.5 or higher) or Cambridge Language Certificate (Proficiency CPE or Advanced CAE) (grade "C" or higher).
