Electrical Engineering
The aim of the programme is to educate international experts in the field of power and automation technologies and the forest and energy market industries. Major subjects offered are “Electricity Distribution and Market” and “Industrial Electronics”. In industry and society, there is a a real need for specialists in electrical engineering educated to support innovation and able to develop, design and apply new energy use solutions.

BSc degree or equivalent in related or closely related field.
Students who are still studying can apply in January-February but the BSc degree must be completed and a degree certificate copy submitted to LUT by 15 July 2009.
Foreign students who have not completed a Bachelor’s degree in English in an EU/EEA country or in Australia, Canada, New Zealand or in the USA must have obtained an approved English language qualification (a minimum of TOEFL 80 iBT/213 CBT/550 PBT or IELTS 6.0).
