Master's Programme in Mobile Computing - Services and Security

This programme gives the students an ability to study a combination of courses covering general computer science and the specific fields of technical information security, network applications and services, Internet technologies and mobile networking. This program addresses the telecommunications architecture evolution, services and information technologies related to them. Internet technologies are at the core of the technical framework of the Mobile Computing program. Key subject areas for the Internet and mobile networks are network applications and services, as well as service management issues including charging, quality of service, mobility and security. Security is a critical issue when developing services on the Internet. A developer must be able to choose, develop and integrate security components to services and systems. The Mobile Computing program will provide a consistent Master’s Programme for students interested in learning about security, networking and services on the Internet and mobile networks.
The programme is targeted for students with a B.Sc degree in Computer Science or Information technology and it is organised by Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The programme consists of 120 ECTS credits.
